Olivia de Havilland (1916-2020) won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for “To Each His Own” (1948) and “The Heiress” (1949). She was nominated five times for an Oscar.

BREAKING NEWS: Carol Elaine Channing has won all three PANDEMIC PROPS VI categories: Total points (40); THINK points (19); and WANT points (21). Check back later for more information on this developing story.

Choose who you THINK will win each award and who you WANT to win each award.

Get your picks in by 6 p.m. CST, Sunday, April 25, an hour before the 93rd Academy Awards begin. One entry per person, please.

For THINK and WANT questions, one point will be awarded for a correct answer. However, two bonus points will be awarded for correct WANT answers if your correct pick IS DIFFERENT than a majority of our entrants’ WANT pick(s). In other words, if you pick XXX, it wins, and 12 of 20 entrants picked YYY after they copied Variety’s predictions, you get three points (a point plus two bonus points). The tiebreaker “In Memoriam” question only will be scored in the case of a tie.

The contestant who tallies the most overall points will receive a used hardcover copy of Olivia de Havilland’s 1962 autobiography “Every Frenchman Has One.” The contestant(s) who score the most THINK points and WANT points will win an embroidered, limited-edition “Midwest Realness” patch.
