In the most spectacular display of mastery in POPS PROPS’ first decade, Kevin K. seized the POPS PROPS X crown and set new records for points scored (56), margin of victory (8 points) and finishing ahead of the mean (+22 points). Tony S. held the previous records for all three feats (54, 5 and 15, respectively) after his five-point POPS PROPS VIII title, but the two-time defending champion ended POPS PROPS X in a distant 26th.
This one wasn’t in doubt for long. Kevin K. built a small advantage by the end of the entertainment questions and absolutely crushed it the rest of the way.
Phil H. grabbed second with 48 points, while Darien H. took third with 45 points. Our top 12, 21 of the top 22 finishers, and 66 percent of our 66 players, picked Kansas City to win. Shane D. (13th overall, 389 points) had the best finish of any player that picked San Francisco. Thirty-five entrants picked Patrick Mahomes to win MVP.
